Welcome to Edgewood Primary parents and families.  My name is Chad M. Burnheimer and I am the principal of Edgewood Primary.  This year I begin my 3rd year as Edgewood’s principal and (I believe) my 23rd year in education.  I have had a wonderful career in education working in Texas, Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina and lastly Pennsylvania.  I hold a B.A. in Art from Thiel College, a M.A. in Teaching and Learning with Technology from Ashford University, a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Edinboro University and Superintendent Credentials from Edinboro University.  While I have had many travels in my career, I was born and raised a Pennsylvanian and have done my best to return as soon as I could.  I am looking forward to a wonderful and successful school year with both your children and you.

Edgewood primary is a Pre-K through 3rd grade building.  This year we have 1 Pre-K classroom, 7 kindergarten classrooms, 7 1st grade classrooms, 4 2nd classrooms and 4 3rd grade classrooms.  For the 2018-2019 school year we have added 4 new staff members to the Edgewood staff.  We offer our students art, music, library once a week and physical education twice a week under our specials program.

We promote the 5 P's at Edgewood Primary: Proud, Productive, Prompt, Prepared and Polite. Our goal is to have all of our students be happy, healthy and successful.  We have several programs that can aide students in their behavioral and academic growth should those needs occur.

On behalf of our Assistant Principal Mrs. Lesley McDonough, myself, and our entire staff, I would like to personally thank you for choosing Edgewood Primary and the Woodland Hills School District to educate and lead your child.
