Keystones to Opportunity
The Keystones to Opportunity initiative is a federal grant Pennsylvania has received to improve literacy outcomes for students from birth through grade 12. Woodland Hills was awarded the Keystones to Opportunity Grant (Striving Readers), through a competitive grant process. The district has developed a local literacy plan that is aligned with the Pennsylvania Comprehensive Literacy Plan (PaCLP) The district is putting into place evidence-based literacy programs birth through grade 12. The overarching goal of this grant is to improve literacy achievement for ALL students. (See opposite)
