The Woodland Hills School District is now using SchoolMessenger. The numbers on record for your children are used for call out purposes.

SchoolMessenger will allow you to manage how you are contacted, via phone, email and text message.

Here is important information on establishing your account information.



Types of Calls

The district may use SchoolMessenger to notify you about emergencies, delays, cancellation, activities, or surveys. With all of the types of messages which WHSD has set up, you can select how you wish to be contacted for each message type. For example, a parent/guardian has opted to receive a phone call and an email for school delay/closing, and a email, phone call, and text for general messages.


Not Receiving Calls

If you are not receiving calls, delays, cancellations, or event notifications, please write to concerns@whsd.net with your name,email, students name and a phone number and we will enter the information as quickly as possible. You can also call the district at 412-731-1300, extension 0107 and we will add your number to our system as soon as possible.


Unwanted Calls

If you are receiving unwanted calls in error, call the opt-out hotline at 412-731-1300, extension 0107. You can write to concerns@whsd.net with your name and number and we will resolve the matter as soon as we can.
