NOVEMBER 21, 2023

Good Afternoon Students and Families of the Woodland Hills School District!

As we enter the holiday season, I wanted to thank our staff for creating new and exciting opportunities for our students. What makes Woodland Hills School District such a special place is that we truly have something for every child. Last week I attended a bus trip to Harrisburg with two buses full of students, visited Mr. McGuire’s Library as he held an E-Sports competition, spoke at Basketball tryouts, watched our new students inducted into National Honors Society, and then attended the Family Dinner at the Rankin Community Center.  All of these activities involved different families and reached student needs on varied levels. We continually remind our staff that our main goals are creating opportunities for students while maintaining long standing traditions. Watching them strive to do-so shows their clear dedication to putting children first!

A few important dates to highlight:

  • Full Student Day - Wednesday, November 22
  • No School - Thanksgiving Break - November 23 through November 27

  • Full Student Day - Friday, December 22nd
