WH Students Recognized at Voter Registration Rally

On Tuesday, September 25, Woodland Hills students were recognized during the National Voter Registration Day Rally at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland. This national event, called When We All Vote, featured speakers including Tom Hanks, Josh Dobbs, Jim Rooney, James Conner, and Kiya Tomlin. Additionally, a student speaker from the University of Pittsburgh acknowledged Woodland Hills' students success with pop-up voter registration events held at the high school. These events have been coordinated through the Caileigh Lynn McDowell Foundation and Mr. Brad Zolnak's AP US History classes. Their motto is "My Vote. My Voice. My World."

The next pop-up voter registration will occur on Thursday, September 27 from 6:00-8:30pm during Open House at the Woodland Hills Junior Senior High School.
