Edgewood Elementary to have delayed start to school year

To ensure the safety of staff and students during the ongoing renovations of Edgewood Elementary, the Woodland Hills School District has decided to delay the opening of the school until September 2. Please read for more information.

First Quarter WHOA Enrollment Closes August 21, 2025

Enrollment in WHOA for the first quarter closes on Thursday, August 21. Students must be registered in the Woodland Hills School District and complete an online enrollment form in order to begin the process.

Welcome Back, Teachers and Staff!

The Woodland Hills School District faculty and staff are officially back in session, as Tuesday, August 19 served as the annual official Opening Day for the district.

Podcast appearances highlight district initiatives in reading, STEM

Dr. Eddie Willson and Ms. Tina Dietrich had the opportunity to serve as guests on podcasts this summer, where they were able to share more about district partnerships and initiatives in reading and STEM.

District School Bus Safety Drills (2025-26)

To prioritize student safety, the district will hold school bus safety drills on August 22 and March 5. The drills, conducted upon morning arrival, will teach students how to respond during bus emergencies, including proper evacuation procedures and use of safety equipment. Staff will guide students through the process to ensure they are prepared and confident. Families are encouraged to discuss the importance of the drills with their children and support participation.
