Castagna superintendent release Woodland Hills School District Board of School Directors appoints Dr. Daniel Castagna as District Superintendent

The Woodland Hills School District Board of School Directors has appointed Dr. Daniel Castagna as District Superintendent. The decision came during a special legislative meeting held by the Board of School Directors on Wednesday, May 25. Dr. Castagna’s appointment is effective from May 26, 2022 through May 25, 2027.

Woodland Hills High School will be offering a free credit recovery program this summer over two sessions.  To be eligible for credit recovery, a student must have already taken the course.   The original course could have been in 2021-2022 or during any prior school year.  A student cannot take a credit recovery class if they have never taken the original course.  Please note that although WHHS is running two sessions, not all courses are available in both sessions.  Please review the course lists below for more information.  The first session will run from June 6th - July 8th and the second session will run from July 11 - August 12th.  Each session is 5 weeks long.  Students may take one or two classes per session.  There is a limit of two (2) courses, per session for any student.  Deadline for signing up for session one is June 2nd.

This is just a reminder that there are mandatory graduation rehearsals on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:45 am. All seniors who have met the requirements for graduation are required to attend and you must be on time. You are not required to bring your cap and gown to the rehearsals. If you fail to attend the mandatory graduation rehearsals, you will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony on Friday. 

Graduation is scheduled for 7 pm on Friday. Tickets will be distributed after the last graduation rehearsal. Please reach out to Principal Manns if you have any questions.
