A Homecoming For Everyone

Few school districts can match the rich and complex history of Woodland Hills. Over 40 years after the district was formed, our hearts now burst with Wolverine Pride.

For decades prior to the formation of Woodland Hills, our communities had other allegiances. They weren't Wolverines, but Tigers, Chargers, Shamrocks, Vikings, Falcons, Jackrabbits, Purple Raiders, Golden Flashes, and Eagles.

No matter the name or the uniform color, they excelled. They won WPIAL championships in baseball, basketball, field hockey, ice hockey, rifle, softball, tennis, track and field, volleyball, and - yes - football. They established dynasties and earned national recognition.

This year, Woodland Hills' Homecoming celebration isn't just for Wolverines, but for all of the schools that laid the foundation for this current generation of students and families.

If you went to Braddock, Churchill, East Pittsburgh, Edgewood, General Braddock, Rankin, Scott, Swissvale, or Turtle Creek High Schools, we want you to join us for Homecoming 2025 at the Wolvarena. Help us celebrate the legacies of our communities and be part of the tradition that shaped and continues to shape Woodland Hills.

This night is for you. Join us on Friday, September 26 for Woodland Hills' Homecoming 2025 Celebration. The parade in Turtle Creek begins at 5:30 p.m. Kickoff against Latrobe is at 7 p.m. This year's Homecoming Court will be recognized at halftime.
