Three Wolverines sign with Division I athletics programs

Three Woodland Hills student-athletes have officially signed their scholarship papers to continue their academic and athletic careers at Division I universities.

Annabel Johnson, Ziggy Moore, and Scoop Smith were celebrated for their accomplishments during a special Signing Day Ceremony on Wednesday, December 3 at the high school.

Johnson, who blazed new trails as a cross country runner at Woodland Hills, signed with Seton Hall University in New Jersey. Moore, a versatile and highly skilled linebacker, will play college football at North Carolina State University. Smith, a multi-sport star who was one of the most dynamic football players in the WPIAL, will attend Miami University in Ohio.

As part of the ceremony, each of their coaches recognized the student-athletes not just for their athletic achievements, but for their ambition, determination, and personalities. Each of them persevered through one challenge or another to earn the opportunity to compete at the highest level in college athletics.

The student-athletes were joined by their teammates, coaches, friends, and family members for the ceremony.
Congratulations to Annabel, Ziggy, and Scoop! We look forward to following your college careers, and you will always be Wolverines!
