Congratulations to senior Aubrie Moon, who is a recipient of one of the inaugural Eradicate Hate Student Summit Leadership Awards.
The award recognizes high school students and alumni who have been involved in the Eradicate Hate Student Summit. The Eradicate Hate Student Summit is run in conjunction with the Eradicate Hate Global Summit, which is held every fall in Pittsburgh and spawned out of the Tree of Life tragedy in Squirrel Hill.
One student from each participating school was eligible to be nominated and the applications were reviewed by a committee, which chose the final recipients.
Along with the Eradicate Hate Student Summit and her involvement in multiple other programs and activities, Aubrie has been a four-year member of the Woodland Hills Student Summit. From the beginning, she has been a tireless advocate for teenage mental health and served as a mentor to other students. She has encouraged friends and classmates to take part, with several of them now joining her as a student leader for this year's Student Summit on March 13.
Congratulations to Aubrie on this well-deserved award!
