At the seventh annual Woodland Hills Student Summit, teenagers from throughout the region had an opportunity to laugh, to grieve, and to bond. Their backgrounds may be different, but their shared experiences help them realize that they aren't the only one struggling with their mental health, grieving the loss of a loved one, or concerned about issues in their community.
And one by one, they realize that not only are they not alone, but that they have the courage to change their lives, their schools, their communities and the world.
Students who took part in this year's Student Summit on March 13 at Penn State Greater Allegheny shared how the experienced left an impact on them.
