Woodland Hills School District is accepting registration applications for the PA Pre-K Counts Program for the 2026-27 school year. This is a FULL DAY program (Mon.-Fri. 9:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.) This program is free to residents who live within the boundaries of the Woodland Hills SD; whose children are three (3) or four (4) years old and fully potty trained by September 1, 2026, AND gross household income is within 300% of federal poverty level. Registrations will be taken at the Central Registration Office, 2552 Greensburg Pike, Door 18, Pittsburgh, PA 15221. Please make your appointment by calling 412-731-1300, selecting prompt #4 and allowing the AI assistant to create the appointment, or by visiting www.whsd.net/regcal to schedule online.

Or you can upload the fill-in registration packet and the 2026-27 PA Pre-K Counts Enrollment form with required documents to [email protected]. Documents may also be mailed to Renee Englert at 2552 Greensburg Pike, Door 18, Pittsburgh, PA 15221. Please indicate which location you are registering for Edgewood Elementary STEAM Academy, Wilkins Elementary STEAM Academy, or Turtle Creek Elementary STEAM Academy.
To save time during the registration process you may complete the registration packet and PA Pre-K Counts form and bring it with you along with the following documents:

Parents or guardian's photo id with current WHSD address (only parent or legal guardian may register a child)

Current deed or lease

additional proof of residency (ex. current utility bill, pay stub with name and address, or some type of mail of an official nature)

your child's birth certificate (or passport or baptismal certificate with birth date)

your child's immunization records

Verification of Household Income (e.g., (3) consecutive pay stubs, or; 2025 tax return, or; W-2 forms for 2025, or; SSI, or; TANF printout, or; foster care letter, or; employer letter, or; child support, or; county case message, or; zero income letter)
Please keep in mind that parents/guardians are responsible for providing transportation to and from school. Parents must also adhere to the daily schedule and attendance requirements.
Space is limited, and enrollment is not determined on a first-come, first-served basis. Children are accepted into the program based on specific needs identified through the application process. Only complete applications will be considered.
