The following is a joint statement from the Woodland Hills School District and the Fox Chapel Area School District:
Out of an abundance of caution, attendance at tonight’s football game between Fox Chapel Area and Woodland Hills at Fox Chapel Area High School will be restricted to only players’ parents and guardians from both teams due to an unspecified threat reported via the Safe2Say system. No other community members, including student spectators, band members, or cheerleaders, will be permitted to attend the game.
There will be a heightened police presence at tonight’s football game, and fans should report any concerning activity immediately.
Reminder: The district’s clear bag policy will remain in effect, and all bags will be subject to search.
The safety of students, staff, and community members remains the district’s top priority.
The district will continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates if circumstances change.
