Woodland Hills School District Announces Temporary Leadership Transition

The Woodland Hills School District Board of School Directors announces that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the District Superintendent is currently on administrative leave. To ensure continuity of leadership and district operations, Dr. Jean Livingston has been appointed to serve as Acting Superintendent.

Dr. Livingston brings more than twenty years of educational leadership experience within the Woodland Hills School District. Her deep familiarity with the district’s schools, students, and community positions her well to provide steady leadership during this transition. While serving as Acting Superintendent, Dr. Livingston will continue in her role as Building Principal of Turtle Creek Elementary STEAM Academy.

In her capacity as Acting Superintendent, Dr. Livingston will oversee District operations and work closely with the Board of School Directors, administrative staff, and school leadership teams to maintain the district’s commitment to academic excellence and student success.

“We are confident that Dr. Livingston will provide steady and effective leadership during this transition,” said Terri Lawson, President of the Board of School Directors. “Our focus remains on supporting our students, staff, and families while ensuring the continued smooth operation of the district.”

All District programs, activities, and operations will continue without interruption. The Board of School Directors will provide updates as appropriate and appreciates the community’s continued support of Woodland Hills students and schools.
